Thumbs up Boost Performance, some bad Cobra's

I co-sponsored Buick vs Ford yesterday at Thundervalley and ran into these guys from Amarillo Texas. As part of my sponsorship I chose my favorite car to be given the "favorite car" award for the entire event

There were a lot of really awesome cars there but a silver 03 Cobra caught my attention real quick...

There were a few 03 Cobra's there but they weren't trapping 140 like this one I talked to Brent Milsow about the car and was blown away when he said it had a stock long block (no heads, cams, or internals) It was running HP twin 57's if I recall correctly and made well north of 800rwhp. I told him right then and there that he was going to win favorite car at the event, that's a ridiculous trap speed

They also had a stock engine 2.3 whipple Cobra that was running 10's at 129, extremely healthy car too.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...yno_709806.htm

Great guys to talk to as well which unfortunately seems to be a hard thing to find these days where ego's run high in the quest for horsepower. I like that they street tune their cars and are very meticulous about power and driveability. I think after I get a new shortblock and possibly heads I'll take my GT down to Amarillo and tackle that 72 oz steak while they tune it

Yes sir. I'll forward this thread to them and see if they want to sign up I'm pretty sure it was twin 57mm but honestly after he said it was a stock long block things went fuzzy for a bit

I use to want to go cobra but I've come to realize the potential in my 6.0l ls2 so I'm happy with what I have. That being said I probably wouldn't turn someone down if they wanted to trade a twin turbo 03 cobra making 900 rwhp for my car.

Glad to have you, Boost Performance. I am originally from Pampa, and I believe I have seen some of your handiwork the past few years at Burning the Bricks, correct?
